The program consists of a demonstration and interactive optimization process, a workshop on Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt level), where we simulate the practical process, the organizational structure classic with customers (who demands the three coordinates: quality, cost and delivery time), reception, dispatching, financial, marketing, appraisers, executives, etc. and see how applying specific principles and tools of Lean Six Sigma process dramatic improvements in performance. We see a direct link between process performance and financial results, as the sigma of a process influencing profitability.

Target group

Managers or Process Owners or executive managers Corporate and Retail, department heads, experts and specialists in the project / organization, risk, quality, finance / accounting, human resources, insurance, sales (voice of customer), logistics / distribution with the task of maintaining performance and processes involved in ensuring their continuous improvement.

Course objectives

  1. Discovery and understanding of the principles, objectives and main tools of Lean Six Sigma methodology
  2. Demonstrate teamwork efficiency to identify the root causes of a problem
  3. The practical application of the main tools of Lean Six Sigma methodology
  4. Preparing to obtain an international certification

Subjects

Introduction to Lean Six Sigma methodology:

  • Defining concepts and process client;
  • History of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; 
  • Differences and complementarity between Lean and Six Sigma;
  • Voice of Customer (VoC), Critical to Quality (CTQ).

Running round 1 process (role play), Work in Progress, followed by measurements and calculation of performance of the process, the sigma (DPMO), the calculation of the economic results.

Define and understand the principles and tools related to Define and Measure phases:

  • Problem statement ; 
  • Project Charter ; 
  • Communication Plan; 
  • Data Types; 
  • Graphics; 
  • Measuring System Analysis

Running round 2 of the process (role play) implementing rapid improvements (quick-wins), carry out the measurements Work in Progress, process performance optimized, the sigma (DPMO) calculation of economic performance.

Define and understand the principles and tools related to phase Analysis:

  • Pareto Charts and Cause - Effect Chart (Ishigawa); 
  • Value stream; 
  • "As Is" Analysis;
  • Value added activities vs. non-value added activities;
  • 7 wastage;
  • Takt time; 
  • 5 S; 
  • Standard Work; 
  • Visual Management.

Define and understand the principles and tools to Improve and Control related phases:

  • Identify special causes and common causes of variation in the process; 
  • Methods and mechanisms;
  • Poka-yoke (error proofing); 
  • FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analyses);
  • Control plans.

Running round 3 of the process (role play) based on the redesign of the main process (business) and the support processes, followed by measurement of the performance, the sigma (DPMO), the calculation of the economic results after redesign.

Aurelian Iuscu, Lean Six Sigma International Certified Black Belt, Managing Partner Business Future Solutions

Graduate of the Romanian Banking Institute, Faculty of Financial Management and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and a MA at the Academy of Economic Studies in Communication and Public Relations Business.Aurelian has a professional experience of 15 years in the banking financial occupying management positions in BRD - GSG. Managed projects covered the areas of capital markets, foreign exchange operations, bank cards, reorganization agents, (re) design banking processes, improve and optimize business processes, change management. He was involved in implementing project management solutions (EPM).

Ion Teohari, Lean Six Sigma International Certified Master Black Belt, IASSC Accredited Training Associate

Ion Teohari engineer in electronics and telecommunications, is a freelance consultant in organizational optimization, with over 10 years experience in both Lean Six Sigma projects and in training. Also has extensive experience in IT and communications, working for eight years as a Sales Manager, and then another eight years between 1998 and 2006 as Country Manager Romania to Meta Group Inc. USA, the world number two in IT & C.

Duration / Period

The program will last for 16 hours divided in 2 days and will take place on June 4-5th 2018, between 09:00-17:00.

This is completed with a test based on which the certificate of participation will be issued and signed by a Black Belt.

Investment

The necessary investment for participating to this program is of 1200 lei + VAT/person and covers: course materials, coffee breaks and particiption certificate.
